This is the only barber I’ll ever go to in Alaska. I drive roughly 3 hours to go get a haircut and it’s worth it every time. Normally the owner (I believe her name is Dar) cuts my hair every time and nails it. I’ve never got so many compliments on my haircut in my life. I explain briefly what haircut I want to her and let her skills do the rest of the work, and it works everytime. Wait time is slightly longer on weekends and major days off of work, but it’s worth the wait. They also know how to work with curly hair!!! Hands down the best barber shop in Alaska.

I love this place, the best barbershop in Alaska. The owner Darlene has a great, fun, and professional crew. The decor is amazing, it’s almost like a barber museum with a huge mirror piece from the 1800s. Not only do you get a great cut and a great value, she sweetens the deal with a complimentary beer. All the stars!

Man I am so pleased with this place! I do the flat top style and I was really looking for a new place because I’m new here all the way from Girdwood … and I went to sports clips out there in Anchorage and she basically shaved my head…. I was pretty disappointed but after it grew back A little bit, I decided to give this place a chance. Amen I am glad I did hallelujah! Aaron The gentleman with the dreads he took on my flat top and he did an awesome awesome job. I will always be using him from now on so thank you so much Aaron The wonderful haircut I’ve now found my barber for life when I’m up here God bless thank you!!

First time customer today. Loved it! Quick and friendly. Nice decor. Struck up a conversation with the owner about our upcoming trip to Disney and she shared a couple of helpful tips. And the free brewski was the cherry ontop of it all. New favorite barber! 😁

I cannot say enough amazing things about this barbershop! I accidentally messed up my toddler’s hair and walked in hoping they could help fix it. From the moment we arrived, the entire shop made us feel so welcome. My toddler was crying and upset, and they were incredibly patient and kind. They took the time to talk to him, asked him his name, and worked so hard to help him feel comfortable. Their kindness, professionalism, and teamwork were truly incredible to watch. They did an amazing job fixing his hair, and the experience meant so much to me as a parent. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and creating a positive environment for kids and families. We will absolutely be coming back and recommending them to everyone. Thank you for turning a stressful moment into such a wonderful experience!
